Ovarian Cyst can happen in any age group of women. There can be various types of cyst and mostly these cysts are non-cancerous. Hardly 1 percent of cysts are malignant and generally, they are seen in postmenopausal women. There are two types of cyst conditions like torsion or rupture of cyst, which may land up as an emergency, presenting as acute severe abdominal pain.
